Eligibility for admission

A candidate should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree of Mumbai University or of any other University recognized by this University, with at least 45% marks and should have offered at least one school subject at the first and / or second degree level as principal or subsidiary or allied or optional subject. (School subject means the subject included in the syllabus of secondary / Higher secondary level in the Maharashtra state.) Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to the candidates belonging to S.C. & S.T. and other notified categories as per Government rule.

The Programme is conducted by the Institute of Distance Education, University of Mumbai. Our college is one of the centre for M.A. in Education Programme. The M.A. in Education Programme is aimed at developing professionals for effective participation in educational activity in different areas. The programme is an innovative post graduate programme in education which emphasizes both disciplinary and professional dimensions of education. The program comprises of 6 core papers and 2 electives to be selected from four papers. The broad purpose of introducing M.A. in Education programme is to offer education as a liberal arts as well as professional programme and to promote reflections on education. Students will also develop special expertise in chosen areas of study relating more directly to professional needs in the subject.
