From the desk of the Principal

It is a phase of transition for the field of Teacher Education. Technology has brought tremendous change in the transaction of teaching -learning. Advance ICT applications are available to make teaching-learning effective. The roles of learner and teacher has also changed, teacher is a mentor and facilitator for the students. The New Education Policy has also brought many changes in the field. Use of constructivism and experiential learning will also change the scenario of teacher education and school education. Gokhale Education Society’s College of Education is committed to bring desired changes in the field of teacher education and provide quality teacher for the quality school education. 

It gives me immense pleasure as finally Covid -19 disappeared and finally the whole world is out of danger from this virus. We started our Academic Year 2022-23 in face-to-face Mode, Students Conducted their Practice teaching in offline mode and also conducted their internship program successfully. I have got Very good feedback from all schools related to Practice teaching & internship program .Many of the Students are invited to Work as a Teacher in reputed Schools in Mumbai, this is a proud moment for College, throughout the year Students were engaged with theory lecturers ICT Practical, Action Research Projects, Completion of Task & assignments related to theory Papers, our Students not only  participated in curricular activities but they all  were actively participated in extracurricular activities  conducted by Student Council & Women Development Cell

The IQAC Department conducted various workshops and Seminars for the benefit of students like Sign language, CTET Orientation, and IPR. Our students sent for an Inclusion workshop by St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and a Teaching Aid Preparation workshop by Nehru Science Centre,5 Students Submitted Ph.D. thesis & 2 students Submitted their Synopsis, this is Great achievement for our college.   Our students are taking maximum benefit of our Library resources, from this year our language laboratory will be in full functional mode, Students can take maximum advantage of resources, I wish All the Success for Outgoing Students, Our College Well wishes are always with you.
