B.Ed.

A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is an undergraduate professional degree programme where the student teachers are trained to work as a secondary, higher secondary and junior college teachers. It is a course offered for those who are interested in pursuing career in teaching and related fields. The minimum qualification for admission in the programme is to have a degree from any discipline with at least 50% marks. The duration of the course is for 2 years as per the NCTE 2014 regulations.

GESCER is a Government Aided College, permanently affiliated to University of Mumbai. College has the recognition of NCTE. The College has the capacity of one unit of 50 STs each year. All the medium of instruction is given in English. Student can choose Marathi or Hindi medium for writing their theory papers. College has the English, Hindi, Marathi, History, Geography, Science and Mathematics Methods of teaching.
